Just like our sour cream, our cheese recipes were developed decades ago and the formulas have been passed down through three generations. Our cheeses are known for their melting characteristics and buttery smooth flavors.
They come in 43 lb. random weight blocks, which are ideal for shredding and slicing.
Farmdale recently added our own line of shredded cheeses. They come in different shred sizes and styles, and are packaged in 5 lb. bags, 4 to a case. Below you’ll find our most popular types of cheese. Keep in mind though we have many others available.
Monterey Jack Cheese
A firm, natural, and smooth-bodied cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk, Farmdale Creamery’s Monterey Jack is great for slicing, shredding, melting, and cooking. It is manufactured to work equally well in hot and cold applications as an ingredient or a topping. Available in 40 lb. blocks
Cheddar Cheese
Farmdale Creamery’s Mild Cheddar Cheese perfectly delivers the quintessential flavor we have all come to love. Made from pasteurized cow’s milk, our Cheddar is firm, smooth-bodied, and excellent for slicing, shredding, melting, cooking, or use in hot and cold dishes as an ingredient or topping. Pepper Jack Cheese
Our Pepperjack is a natural, semi-hard, young cheese with a firm, smooth body. The flavor delivers a mild heat intensity from a blend of peppers. It’s great for slicing, shredding, melting, cooking, or use in hot and cold dishes as an ingredient or topping. Available in 40 lb. blocks.
Colby Jack Cheese
Our Colby Jack Cheese is all natural, semi-hard, young cheese with a firm, smooth body. It exhibits a unique eye-appealing marbled white and orange exterior, with flavors from both types of cheeses. Mozzarella
Our low moisture part skim Mozzarella “Pizza” Cheese is a natural, high moisture cheese with semi- firm body. It has mild and slightly salty flavor and can be used for slicing, shredding, melting and cooking. Available in 40 lb. blocks and 5 lb. shreds.
Reduced Fat Monterey Jack Cheese
This all-natural reduced fat, Monterey Jack style cheese is a healthier alternative to full fat Jack. Manufactured to have excellent shredding and slow melting abilities, it is firm, smooth-bodied, and functions well in hot and cold cooking applications as an ingredient or topping. Available in 40 lb. blocks.
Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese
Our reduced fat, cheddar-style cheese offers a healthier alternative to full fat cheeses. Firm, smooth-bodied,
and made from part skim pasteurized cow’s milk, it is slower melting, ideal for shredding, and excellent in
hot or cold cooking applications as an ingredient or a topping. Available in 40 lb. blocks.
